California Speedway

The infield at California Speedway becomes a small city on Winston Cup weekend.  With 1800 RV spots, an Albertson's grocery store, merchandise and souvenir booths, as well as clean, well-stocked restrooms and showers there is no need to leave the infield once you arrive for the weekend. (Of course, since we are in the Southwest, we can't forget the Marguerita stands!!)

Friday was a school day for TJ which gave Mom and Dad a rare opportunity to go to the track alone and wander through the garage area.

Driving the #92 Busch car and the #54 Winston Cup car keeps Todd very busy all weekend but I was able to squeeze in a short chat before qualifying.

Tom is a Ward Burton fan and he had control of the camera.  There is a good reason for that though - Cindie is a terrible photographer.  Got to admit, he took some nice pictures.

Tom needs a zoom lens for his camera and we were too far from the track to get any good shots of the on-track action so we will fill this space with pictures of Tom, Cindie and TJ.  Note: Tom may be a Ward Burton fan but I made him wear his Todd gear.  TJ is a Kyle Petty fan but he also owns Todd gear.  He, unfortunately, forgot to bring any of his racing shirts.

We had a lot of fun this weekend at the track.  We hope you have enjoyed sharing some of it with us.
